Referral disclosure

How this site makes money. One roofing contractor per service area pays us a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner who requested an estimate. That is our revenue.

What is not for sale. Contractors cannot pay for placement in our content, cannot pay to alter a published figure, and cannot pay to receive more referrals than their performance and pricing earn. Partners are selected and retained on the quality of their completed work and the competitiveness of their quotes — not on what they pay us.

Editorial independence. The figures on this site are quoted from named published documents and are the same figures whether or not a partner benefits from them. No manufacturer, contractor, or insurer has paid for, reviewed, or approved any page here.

Product links. If we ever link to a product or service under an arrangement that pays us, the page will say so where the link appears. Today, referral fees from partner contractors are our only compensated relationship.
